Use the power of now to drive meaningful change. Focus, act with purpose, and make real progress by embracing the present moment fully.
You have discussed the matter multiple times. You have attempted to reinterpret it. You have examined it from several perspectives. No matter what you do or when you think about the issue, it feels like nothing gets resolved.
This is due in large part to the ease with which your conscious mind can become trapped in a holding pattern. Let us say you have ever boarded an aircraft that was attempting to land at a crowded airport. If so, you have most likely encountered a holding pattern previously. Your arrival would be delayed as your plane made multiple circuits around the city. Your pilot will break the holding pattern and begin the descent as soon as the runway clears and you are given the all-clear to land. Planes operate in this manner.
It is pretty much the same as what you think. Your mind enters a holding pattern when it is expending valuable energy attempting to make a breakthrough because you are stuck at a standstill. You seem to be at a loss for ideas. You keep going over the same stuff over and over again.
Losing your keys is not much different from this. How recently have you misplaced your keys? I am prepared to wager that you repeatedly checked the locations you had previously examined when trying to find your keys. You realize in the back of your mind that your keys are missing. Even if you just checked it a short while ago, you can not resist checking again and again.
Maybe you did not pay enough attention. Perhaps it is trapped in the rear. Perhaps you did not pay close enough attention, which is why you keep seeing this pattern. That is the way your mind functions.
Regretfully, we are no closer to the answer because of this behavior. How is that possible? You keep going over the same procedure again. As they say, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results each time is insanity. When you are doing the same thing, how can you get different results?
You can concentrate on your problems right now when you keep your attention on the here and now. To put it another way, you may direct all of your imaginative and creative energies toward the appropriate challenge at the appropriate moment. This is preferable to worrying about hypothetical situations or, worse, wailing about unfulfilled expectations.
You start to view your circumstances differently when you learn to access the present moment through mindfulness or meditation techniques. Your subconscious mind is involved, which is why this occurs. Your subconscious is powerful. It allows you to make discoveries you previously believed were impossible.
